For those customers who have utilized telephone reminder messages to pay their electric and/or telecommunications bills, NineStar will no longer be sending automated telephone dialed reminders.
New federal regulations under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act has eliminated an exception that permitted NineStar to provide this convenience to our customers. NineStar’s trade associations are currently in discussions with staff at the Federal Trade Commission to explore other options which may be available to allow NineStar and other similarly situated cooperatives to resume this service.
For those who desire to receive email reminders, NineStar can send an email reminder if you provide the company with a current email address. Please call our office at (317) 326-3131 to verify we have a current email address on file.
